Betting material which proved, said the police, that the accused was a member of a. “bookmakers’ association” was produced in court this morning when Charles Frederick Fea-ron, aged 38, was charged with using a house in Bepkenham as a common gaming house. He pleaded guilty and'was fined £IOO by Afr Mosley, S.M. The police .stated’ he had been convicted and fined a similar amount seven years ago. The magistrate remarked, after looking at a list among betting material produced: “There are o»e or two interesting names in this. Very interesting! ” The Chief Detective: Yes! I noticed that.
