CITNARD AND AVHITE STAR
ATLANTIC INTERESTS. (United Press Association —By Electlic Telegraph Copyright.) LONDON, Nov. 4. The Canard and White Star Lines have, reached a basis of agreement for fusion o F their Atlantic interests, the “Daily Telegraph” learns authoritatively. The companies’ primary object in tlie merger is to secure financial assistance from the Government to enable the unfinished giant Cunard liner to be completed.
