The death has occurred of Dr. Pierre Paul Roux, bacteriologist, discoverer of the diphtheria antitoxin, states a Paris cable.
The death occurred at Auckland on Saturday evening of Lady Parr, wife of Sir James Parr, says a Press Association message. She had been ill for a considerable time.
