PHYSICAL CULTURE NOT TOO OLD AT 58. (Letter No. 4G.) Kctcmarae Bond, R.D., Hawera, 12/10/33. Dear Mr Jarrett,- ~ It gives, rue pleasure to pen these few lincis. As you are aware, I had been for many weeks an inmate of the Hawera Public Hospital suffering from crushed ribs received while playing hockey. At my then age, 58 years, it gave me a severe shake, after which a nervous breakdown ocexrrred. While in hospital a patient in the same ward told me what you had done for his I sons,_ urging me to consult you. This] I did, with the full approval of Dr. j C., also Dr. 8., who said you would I do me a lot of good; in fact, I thought I would never be able, to work again, but after several months’ treatment with exercises under your tuition I gradually grew stronger and am now able to follow my usual occupation. I have no reason for regrets, as I am now feeling better than I have done for years. It may interest you to know that while on holiday I came across a factory manager whom you taught nearly thirty years ago, who is still an enthusiast, doing his exercises daily. 1 am not sorry that I followed the doctor’s advice and went to you, as I found it is never too late to learn. All young people should take a few terms. —I remain, yours faithfully, S.J.B. (Original Letter May be Seen.) HIGHEST MEDICAL REFERENCES. , CONSULTATION FREE. CALL OR WRITE FOR APPOINTMENT. Full particulars, terms, etc., from— R. 0. Jarrett, PHYSICAL CULTURIST, 49 CAMPBELL ST., NOLANTOWN, HAWERA.
