BRITISH ART TREASURES EXHIBITION IN JANUARiY (United Press Association —By Electric Telegrapn Copyright.) LONDON, Nov. 2. An exhibition, of British art which is to be opened at Burlington House on January 6 will be the most remarkable collection of national pictures, sculpture, tapestry and objects of art ever assembled. The exhibits will be insured for at least £2,000,000. The King is lending generously from the Royal collections and- American and other foreign collectors are co-operat-ing, while the cathedrals are sending their choicest and rarest examples of mediaeval and ecclesiastical art. The treasures are so numerous that no artist later than -186 Q will .he included.
