Mr A. C. Heyd-on (Kaponga) has. been appointed manager of the Ox-« ford Dairy Company. Mr T. D. Burnett on account of illness was granted six days’ leave of absence by the House of Representatives yesterday, states a Press Association message. Lord and Lady Rledisloe left Wellington last night for Christchurch, where they will undertake a _ series of public engagements. They will return to Wellington at the end of next week. The Prince of Wales, who- is visiting Scotland, on Tuesday lunched with tlie directors of the Bank of Scotland, states a London cable, and was- subsequently initiated into the Royal Order of Scottish Freemasons by Lord Elgin.
