The general inference is that an intense* anti-cyclone is .still located east, of New Zealand, while a depression is advancing across the Tasman Sea. The position is, however, controlled principally bv a small cyclone centred near the northern extremity of the Dominion and moving south-south-east. The forecast is for moderate but freshening east to north winds. The weather will be fine and warm, but later clouding over. Seas are smooth to moderate.
