The Now Zealand 'championship row- 1 in'? regatta was -allocated »to tlie Marlborough Association, to be rowed at Pieton on Feb run ry 17, at the annual meeting of the New Zealand Amateur Rowing Association to-night. Applications were received from the Otago, Marlborough and Wellington associations for the intetprovincial championship fixed for Easter Saturday. It was decided to circularise local association;; asking whether in the event of the visit of New South Wales oarsmen, they could nominate a specified amount and if the replies are favourable to proceed with the invitation. The election of officers-resulted: President, Mr W. .T. Girling (Mavlbr.rov.gh) ; vice-presidents. Messrs A. C'. Xorden (Auckland), F. W. Mothes fWellington): council, Messrs R. G. Duncan, T. M.
