Seed M.D.F.U. delegates .to the Boys and ’Oirls' Club, asking the branch tor assistance with produce, etc., tor the shop day, to be held at some vuture hate m aid ot the club. ihe branch decided to help as much us possible. , . . , Mrs Carter very generously donated the “stamp ’ for the use or the branch. Arrangements were made for exhibits at the Hawera A and P. show. Much interest was caused in the exchange of recipes competition The competitions for the next monthlv meeting to be held on November 21- will be for the best sponge sandwich made with butter and the host one without butter. Mrs J. Cleaver is to be asked to give a demonstrat:on on tatting at the next meeting. Miss Longbottom gave a very interesting demonstration on making silver paper pictures and was accorded a hearty vote of thanks.
