RAILWAY DEVELOPMENTS
PROGRAMMES COSTING £2,3OO,OX-LONDON-NORTH EASTERN LINE (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, Oct. 30. Improved trade conditions have caused the London and North-Eastern Railway to undertake a series of development programmes costing £2,300,000, which include the construction of many additional engines and vehicles for the extension of fast freight and express passenger traffic.
