SLIGHT FALL AT DUNEDIN , (By Telegraph—Press Association., DUNEDIN, Oct. 31. Customs figures for the month ending to-day, ujffch the corresponding figures for last October shown in parentheses, are: Customs, £45,395 (£47,671); bear duty, £24,436 (£24r--792): sales tax, £16,462 (nil); petrol tax, £13,200 (£13,754) ; tyre tax, £313 (£777). INCREASE AT CHRISTCHURCH. CHRISTCHURCH,. Oct. 31. Customs revenue at Christchurch, again showed an increase during October. Following are the comparative figures: Net . Customs £61,979 (£58.862 in October, 1932); beer duty, £8845 (£6663); motor spint tax, £14.975 (£13,613); tyre duty, £B2o (£702); sales tax, £20,231 (nil). For ten months of the calendar year Customs amounted; to £695,893 (£6(M,300): beer duty, £66,748 (£65,735); motor spirit tax, £167,517 (£160,42/ ); tyre,dutv. £6717 (£7I9S); sales tax, £146,538 (nil).
