TAIT STARS COMPETITION
PARK DEFEATS OPUNAKE.
A challenge jnatch played on the Park (Hawera) croquet lawns yesterday afternoon for the Tait Stars resulted in the defeat of an Opunake team and the retention of the stars by Park. Results were as follow:
Mrs Jenkins and Mrs Ritchie (Opunake) lost to Mrs Murdoch and Miss Tait (Park), 20—26. ' Mrs Seavcr and Mrs Gunson (Opu nake) lost to Mrs Barrow and Mrs Crutch (Park), 19—20. Aggregates.—Park 46; Opunake 39
