FOUND ASLEEP IN CAR

YOUNG MAN AND A GIRL. CHARGE OF CONVERSION FOLLOWS. (By Telegraph—Press Association, j WHANGAHEL Oct. 30. Found asleep in a car in Mair Street, Whangarei, at about one o’clock yesterdav morning, a man and a girl appeared in the Police Court this morning before Air G. N. Morris, S.M., to answer a charge of unlawfully converting to their own use on October 27 a ear valued at £IOO, the property of Harry Speed, of Hobsonvillo. The man was Roy Taylor, aged 22. The girl’s name was ordered to be suppressed on the application of Mr L. T. Pickmiere, who appeared for her. On the application of SeniorSergeant Powell both accused were remanded to appear iii Auckland on Wednesday. Bail for the girl was fixed at £SO. Taylor, who was not represented by counsel, did not ask for ■bail.
