LONDON, Oct. 30. The “Daily Herald” says that British chemical manufacturers axe taking full advantage of the expert knowledge offered by German chemists who have been expelled by the Nazis. The ingredients- of a large number of medicines hitherto only obtainable in Germany have been revealed, and as a result doctors and chemists have received a list of 161 such preparations which are now being manufactured in Britain.
It has been found possible to produce many preparations much cheaper than hitherto obtainable from Germany, with the result that these are now available to the poorest patients.
