BIRTHDAY EVENING (From 'Our Own Correspondent.) Oil Friday evening a number of friends of Mr B. Flintoff assembled at the residence of Mr and Mrs It, Flintoff to celebrate the -occasion of their son’s eighteenth birthday.- -A pleasant time was spent in playing games and dancing, Mr L. Sowerby presiding at the plan.© and Mr 11. Ala rtls accompanying on the banjo. Songs were rendered by Masters Ivan and Andrew Oridmau, Mins V. Bunting and Mr Martis. Following the cutting of a birthday cake illuminated by coloured caudles, Mr H. Hu«hes. on behalf of the assembly, wished Air B. Flintoff many happy returns and a prosperous future. Mr El Booth thanked Air and Airs Flintoff for their hospitality and enjoyable evening. * : ■;
