PHYSICAL CULTURE NOT TOO OLD AT 58. (Letter No. 46.) Ketemarae Bead, R.D., Hawera, 12/10/33. Dear Mr Jarrett, — "It gives me pleasure to- pen thies'e few Qiinets. As you are aware, I liad been for many weeks an Inmate of the Hawera Public- Hospital suffering from ©rushed ribs received' while- playing hockey. At my then age, 58 years, it gave me a severe shake, after -which a nervous breakdown occurred. While in hospital a patient- in the sam'o ward told -m© what you had done for his son's, urging me to consult you. This I did, with the full approval of Dr. C., also Dr. 8., who said you would do me a lot of good; in fact, I thought I would never bo able to work again-, but after several, months’ treatment with exercises under your tuition I gradually grew stronger and am now able to- follow my usual occupation. I have no reason for regrets, as I am now feeling better than I have done for years. It may interest you to know 7 that while on 'holiday I came across a factory manager whom you taught nearly thirty years ago, who is still an enthusiast, doing his exercises daily. I am not sorry that I followed the doctor’s adviee and went to you, as I found it is never too late to learn. All young people should -take a few teims. —I remain, yours faithfully, S.J.B. (Original* Letter May be Seen.) HIGHEST MEDICAL REFERENCES. CONSULTATION FREE. -CALL OR WRITE POlt APPOINTMENT. Full particulars, terms, etc., from — R. 0.
