ELTHAM TOWN HALL

MUSIC! AND DRAMA TO-MORIROW’S PERFORMANCE The musical and dramatic entertainment to be held in the Town Hall, Eltham, to-morrow night- promises to provide something new to patrons. The first half of the programme will be devoted to items bv Miss Margaret ■Stock’s Eltham and Hawera, pupils in fancy and tap-dancing and by Miss Maud Madden’s Eltham pupils in piano and instrumental items. Interest should' be well maintained in the second part of the programme when the juvenile operetta “The Mystic Mirror” will be presented under the direction of Mr R. Silver. The director and his assistants have spent a great deal of time perfecting the juvenile performers in their parts, while special lighting and frocking effects have been arranged. The effort is being made in an endeavour to augment the funds of the Eltham School and is. in itself, an object worthy of wholehearted support apart from the undoubted excellence of the performance to be staged.
