WELLINGTON, Sept. 30.A lorry coming from Masterton to Wellington crashed into a massive telegraph post on Hutt Road near Wellington at 3.20 a.m. this morning. It was only r lightly laden, but broke the pole and suffered considerable damage. The sole occupant was the driver, named ■Children, who received leg injuries. After the crash the lorry- blazed, the flames destroying tlie cab and doing other damage. Two Arc engines went to extinguish the blaze.
