DRUIDS’ LODGE RITUAL
SOUTH TARANAKI CONTEST. STRATFORD WINS SHIELD. On Wednesday evening last there was large gathering of Druids at the Foresters’ Hall, Eltham, the occasion being a contest for the Alackay Ritual Shield. Three teams competed, the lodges represented being those from Stratford, Hawera and Eltham. The judges were P.D.P. Bro. J. Ivenny (Eltham) P.-S. Bro. Baker (Hawera), and P.A.D. Bro. White (Stratford). The teams were as follow:

The contest was a very spirited one, the judges awarding the shield to the Stratford lodge with 342 points, Hawera lodge receiving 334$ points. At the conclusion of the evening D.P. Bro. Jefferies presented the shield to A.D. Sister Cummins of the Stratford Lodge, who suitably responded.
