OVER 150 SUFFER INJURIES. HOUSES CRASH ON SLEEPERS SURVIVORS SEEK OPEN FIELDS (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph Copyright.) Received 11.1.5 pan. to-day. ROME. Sept. 26. At least 12 people were killed and over 150 injured by an earthquake, in Central Italy. The mountain region of Alruzzi suffered most severely. Two shocks were felt. One starting at 4.36 in the. morning lasted for 30 seconds. In the epicentre districts and Caste!lo. di Singro and Rocearoso houses crashed, burying the sleeping occupants. The panic-stricken survivors rushed into the streets and took refuge in the fields.
