DUNCAN BEATS JEFFERIES (By Telegraph—Press Association.! BLENHEIM, Sent. 26. John Duncan (Wellington) defeated James Jefferies (Marlborough) in the final of the provincial golf championship. 5 up and 4 to play. In spite of a strong wind Duncan played a steady game, taking 56 strokes for the 14 holes played and appeared set to return a bogey score.
