After repeated tests, involving several ineffectual attempts to leaves the ground, the stratospheric balloon flight was again postponed. . There is bitter disappointment at the failure of the attempt to reach the stratosphere in the world’s largest balloon. It had a capacity of 2-30,000 cubic feet and a diameter of 112 teet, but it rose only 20 feet.
