COMING CRICKET SEASON

EFFORT TO REVIVE CLUB

(From Our Own Correspondent). A meeting was held on Monday evening in the Manaia Fire Brigade .station with the object of reviving the Manaia. Cricket Club for the ensuing season, Mr. Sherson was appointed chairman and Mr J. Christie j r., secretary. There was a large attendance of juniors, hut owing to counter attractions there were not many seniors piesent. It was decided to play a practice match on Wednesday afternoon between the juniors and a team to be selected by Mr. J. Kitt. It was decided to call another meeting of all interested juniors and seniors on Thursday evening. v .
