MAN APPEARED NORMAL. IMPRESSION OF SHIPMATES. .'By Telegraph—Press Association.) WHANGAREI, Aug. 28. Accounts given by seamen ashore concerning the suicide of Pettv-officer Flanagan aboard H.M.A.S. Canberra last week show that he was quite normal just prior to the incident. Then he went to the upper deck with a rifle concealed beneath his greatcoat, two shots being discharged before he died.
