GOVERNMENT ATTACKED FAILURE TO RECIPROCATE. CONCESSIONS BY AUSTRALIA. (United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph Copyright.) Received 10.30 a.m. to-day. PARIS, Aug. 24. The commercial newspaper “Los Echos” attacks the French Government for failing to respond to Australia’s relaxation of many duties. The result, it is stated, is that exports to Australia are infinitesimal compared with imports and the position leaves an opportunity for fruitful negotiations.
