OFFICIAL FORECAST. (For 24 hours from 9 a.m. to-day.)
The general inference, is that yesterday a- shallow secondary low pressure centre developed to the west of New Zealand, delaying the southerly change over the North Island. This morning barometers were still rather low along the west coast. though very high over eastern Australia. The forecast is for moderate north-east to northerly winds, barking later to the south-east and the weather will 1 probably be mainly fair bnt with some scattered showers likely. Moderate seas may be expected.
