The old Arcithusa, the last naval vessel to go> into, action .under sail, and which for the last 60 years has served as a •training .ship for boys, is to-day in the hands of the shipbreakers. She was tawed! from her moorings at Greenhitlie yesterday and was saluted otn the last voyage to the yard at Woolwich by all tine craft on the Thames. Much of her timber is being .preserved. Her work as a training Ship, through which 12,000 boys have passed into- the navy and mercantile marine, may be continued bv the new Arcthusia.
