The German relief committee at London announces that the German Government has refused al.l requests for an, international commission ot inquirv into the Reichstag fire. The requests included the humane treatment of the accused pending their trial, the. liberation of Hew Toro-ler from chains, publicity throughout" the trial, safety for '',R and counsel for the defence, the right of defending counsel to see all documents and permission for accused to speak to their counsel alone.
