Poison, trainer of the Australian racehorse AVinooka, saicl to-nigjh.t that the horse would not ho ready to race for another three weeks at least. Winooka is rapidly improving, and is being walked daily and gradually getting rid of the cough. His conditioning? however, will require two and a half weeks and he will not be ready to meet Onrush on August 27 as planned. The two New Zealand horses Pillow Fight and Tea Trader will be ready for racing about August 26. Pillow Fight was also stricken by the coughing epidemic. RACING FIXTURES. Aug. 19—Pakuranga Hunt Club.
