Garner, aged 21, and lan Archibald Hector, aged 28, on charges of wilfully damaging public telephones, the theft of money from them, and other offences. Garner was given cumulative sentences totalling eight months’ hard labour, and Hector will have to serve an additional eight months’ reformative detention on a term with still 16 months to go.
