MAYOR’S CHARITY BALL.
(To the Editor.) Sir, —Hie outstanding success of both the charity ball and children’s ball is a tribute to the wonderful work of the committee and the loyal co-operation and generosity of the general public. To all who helped and gave, whether in service or kind, I desire to express my grateful thanks and to assure them the proceeds will be a welcome and much-needed addition to the funds of the Citizens’ Relief Committee. —I am. etc., J.
