WEST AUSTRALIAN VOTE, PREMIER’S ASSURANCE. (United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph Copvnsht.) PERTH, Aug. 16. Replying to questions in the Assembly', the Premier, .Mr Collier, said Parliament, would be. given an early opportunity of discussing secession from the Commonwealth. The ea.se for secession was now being prepared for submission to the Imperial Parliament. It was .reported on. Tuesday that a Country Party member, Air Craven Griffiths, would aslc the Premier when Parliament met: (1) What is being done about the secession referendum decision? (21 Have any steps been taken to present the views of the West Australian peoples of the Imperial Parliament ? (3) Will the House he given an opportunity to express- an opinion on these matters of urgency?
