Oamaru, aged 11 years, died m the Oamaru hospital yesterday afternoon a « the result of shock and burns rereived through the explosion of petroi in a tin. He apparently was endeavouringing to rekindle a fire m tne back vard by throwing petrol on the ashes ‘ when the petrol exploded, enveloping him in flames which causer, severe burns on the face and aa ms.
