HISTORIC CORINTH FIRE
LOSS OF 500 HOUSES. POPULACE PANIC-STRICKEN. (United Press Association —By Electnc Telegraph Copyright.) ATHENS, Aug. 5. Fire has devastated historic Corinth, destroying 500 houses and shops. The Buildings were mostly of wood, having been built after the earthquake of .1929.
The panic-striken populace tied to the beach, 5000 being homeless.
