(From Oni- Own Correspondent.) GENERAL AND PERSONAL, The fifth eurlire and dance social in aid of tlie schooiH funds was hold in the Alangamimgi Hail on Friday night. Alb out 50 sat down to, play and the ladies’ prize was won by Miss "Woodley, Miss V. AVnodley gaining the second prize. The men’s first award went to All* Body Ale,lntyre and the second to Air Altiistraiski. Air A. Punning acted as AEG. The sound of young calves and lambs gives a reminder that the busy season for fanners is about to commence. Rain, has set in after a long spell of fine weather. Airs E. AVootllev i.s on holiday in Hawera.
