LEVEL OF GREAT OCCASIONS

SOME PEOPLE FAIL TO RISE. COMMENT BY MR. HULL. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph Copyright.) Received 2A5 r p.m. to-day.

LONDON, June 9. The leader of the American delegation, Mr. Cordell Hull, questioned by 40 American and British pressmen in reference to his reported use of the term “Irish Republic” at Cork, said he had been conferring for months with Free State representatives. Ho refused to discuss war debts on the grounds that they were not included in the conference agenda.
