HURLEYVILLE

SUCCESSFUL DANCFJ. There was a good attendance at a dance held last Tuesday, when novelty events were won by Miss Smith and Mr P. Dwyer and by Miss Wilkinson and Air R.! Jones’. The evening was most successful. SURPRISE PARTY. Last Monday a company of ladies of the district organised a. surprise party at Mrs C. Dunbar’s' residence and made a presentation to Miss Jean Dunbar, who is to be married shortly. Good wishes were tendered her, and a presentation of some pretty china was made by Mrs Fullarton. Competitions . were won by Mrs P. Hurley. Mrs Allan and Miss P. Hurley, and all present had a very enjoyable time.
