An inquest at Cheshire revealed 497 articles in a. local farmer’s stomach. His family had no suspicions that he was . swallowing things until an operation on Tuesday disclosed two hundred nails, 43 gramophone needles, six teaspoons, six brace buckles, -some money, three door keys, a live revolver bullet, three penknives, ten safei;ms, six bolts, a buttonhook, a motor-car tyre valve, four studs, nine scows and seven curtains rings. The evidence 'showed the man had a delusion his stomach was too smooth. The verdict was of death by misadventure.
