Savoury Meat Fritters. Make a batter of one cup of flour mixed smooth with milk, add 1 an egg,, if obtainable, one teaspoontful salt, quarter teaspoonful pepper, chopped l parsley, half teaspoonful dried herbs, dip slices of cold meat in batter and fry.
