SOUTH TARANAKI TEAM. Following trial games held at the Eitham school grounds this morning when boys assembled from South Taranaki schools, the selectors (Messrs L. J. Furrie (Stratford), J. W. Thomas (Hawera), and R. E. Thomas (Eitham) picked the following team to represent South Taranaki in the annual Rugby match against North Taranaki to be played as a curtain-raiser to the- Tara-naki-WeUington. match on Wednesday, June 28: .. . •
Forwards: A. Bamford, G. "Wallis (Hawera, Main), N. Mills, G. Potts (Stratford), B. Rae (Okaiawa), T. Treweek, C. Simpson (Matapu) and E. Gulliver (Ka.puni). Full-back: L. Belli (Kaponga). Three-quarters ; B. Whyte (Stratford)-, G. Trass (Midhirst) and H. Prime (Turuturu). Five-eighths: N. Whalen (Kapuni), A. Kerrisk (Hau'era. Convent). Half: H. Gargan (Riverlea). Emergencies: A. Worthington (Toko), backs; T. Lampshire (Stratford), forwards.
