DEATHS IN JAPANESE PIT. FEARS FOR MANY ENTOMBED. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph Copyright.) KOBE. May 27. A terrific explosion in the Mitsui mine at Toyohara, Saghalien, Idled 58 and entombed 450. Rescue, if they are alive, will be most difficult. Seven were killed and 239 injured in a coal explosion at the Suzaki pi Bonin Islands.
