There were unemployed disorders in various parts of the city to-dav, but the police always had the situation well ill hand. The main disturbance was in Pitt Street at the luncheon hour when a man climbed a verandah post and began to harangue a crowd of demonstrators and shoppers. He was hauled down. A brick was thrown and smashed a shop window. A constable was hurt in a scuffle. Three men were injured during a police charge.
