-FORMER. CHAMPIONS ENTER (By Telegraph—Press Association.i WELLINGTON, Feb. 27. The annual four-day meeting of -the National Rifle Association will open at Trentham on March 8 and conclude on the Saturday. Cash prizes totalling £lO3l are being distributed, this money being guaranteed on a programme based on 350 entries. Last year’s King’s Prizeman, R. H. Nicholl, will defend the title. Already six other ex-Belt winners have signified their intention of competing. These include Colonel E. R. Smith (Dunedin), who won the King’s .Prize in 1594. The association has arrangements for the meeting well in hand. The ammunition available will lie cordite (.1930) or nitro-ccJlulosc (1921 or 3925).
