A tower of steel and aluminium more than 2000 ft. in height has been proposed for the World’s Fair at Chicago in J 933. Mr. Frank A. Randall, consulting engineer, the originator of the project, says that such a tower irpraetieable from an engineering standpoint, and that it could be erected in seven months. His design resembles that of the Eiffel Tower of Paris, but the new tower would be double the height of that structure.
