The local authorities have acquired a sit© Jor a large municipal aerodrome between Southampton and Eastleigh, _ which is to be developed for air traffic in conneotkm with ocean voyages. A scheme is, being considered whereby arriving and departing liners wiLL connect with air services between Souths amptoiy rjid the chief European cities, and routes 1 to the East.
