The Commissioner of Police announces the following promotions and transfers: Detective Hall (Wellington) to Detective-Sergeant; Constable Henry (Seatoun) to. sergeant And transferred to Christchurch; Sergeant Turner (Waimate) to senior-sergeant and transferred to New Plymouth, replacing Sergeant MeCrorie, who has retired on superannuation; Constables Ferguson (Knnbolton), Bissett (War uku) and Jones (Cambridge) promoted to sergeants and 1 transferred to Auckland.
