Lyons) to-day announced the result of the Commonwealth 3| per cent £8,000,000 internal loan, which closed on Monday. The total amount subscribed was £5,086,000 by 4151 applicant®. As the loan was underwritten by the Commonwealth and trading banks the balance will be subscribed by them.
