SUGGESTED WELLINGTON LOSS

(By Telegraph —Piess Association.) WELLINGTON, Dec. 6. ■The police have no statement, to make concerning a suggestion that the mail missing from the Remuera disappeared at Wellington.

A cable despatched from London on Monday stated: The Eemuera’s missing mailbags contained ordinary correspondence, and no registered mailbags are missing. Inquiries by detectives point to the disappearance of the bags Avhile the mails were being unloaded in Wellington.
