Herr Hitler and the Nazi loader.-' discussed the President's reply which was friendly but insisted that the Cabinet must be on a parliamentary basis. The reply forces Herr Hitler to attempt a coalition or to acknowledge failure. .. Indications at present suggest that Herr Hitler is unlikely to obtain sufficient support from other parties although be lias not yet the leaders.
