* : SMART SAVE BY BRIGADE. (From Our Own Correspondent.) The Manaia fire bell sounded shortly after midnight last night, when fire was discovered at the residence of Mr. W. H. Robinson in the township. The. fire brigade, under Superintendent White, was soon on the scene and extinguished the fire before extensive damage was caused.
